Kolombo No.2

This typeface was designed to mimic the Sinhala written script, the primary language of Sri Lanka. Most of the Sinhala letters are curlicues; straight lines are almost completely absent from the alphabet, and it does not have joining characters. This is because Sinhala used to be written on dried palm leaves, which would split along the veins on writing straight lines. This was undesirable, and therefore, the round shapes were preferred.

Boi Can’t Write

Boi Can’t Write is the first typeface I ever created. It’s based on my hand writing and it’s absolutely terrible. It’s natural as natural can get and just like my writing, it’s got terrible spacing as well. If you’re one of my future kids trying to download this to forge a letter to your teachers, have at it! However, I really hope you got better handwriting than me.
